Diablo III Petition for "Renewed Artistic Direction"

Well talk about being ungrateful. Blizzard finally announce Diablo III and what do some of you decide to do? Complain about the game already. In this case a petition is being held due to some having reservations about the game's art direction.

The main problem the petitioners have is that (and bear in mind we've only seen two locations being played out) the graphics are cartoony and too bright and they point to World of Warcraft as the main influence that is "ruining" the Diablo artistic style:

"Cartoon'ish art direction, obviously influenced by the Warcraft universe, Diablo isn't Warcraft."

Check out the source petition link for the other complaints. Maybe we should wait for more information before criticising it for petty reasons. Or design a mod when the game is eventually released.
